It has been 6 months since the announcement of the MLC purchase and we haven’t heard anything from APRA regarding the approval of the MLC purchase. I was wondering if anyone heard anything?
According to Section 29HC of the SIS Act 1993, APRA has 90 days to approve plus 90 days from the day APRA received updated info when requested plus 30 days extension, so all up is 210 days if APRA stretches the timeframe. Given that we are 6 months into this I was thinking if APRA’s decision is not out tomorrow it should be out very soon. Any thoughts?
