The only mining company I've thrown a few dollars at is ATC (Altech Chemicals Ltd), which is very closely linked to the technology industry. It will be huge if it gets off the launchpad. Fingers crossed.
Yes, I've been hearing a little about the possibility that customer metadata may need to be retained for X amount of years. That will add some more value to all things data centres, although I couldn't begin to quantify it.
Generally speaking the amount of data being accumulated worldwide by "everyone" is growing exponentially year by year. Data centres as an investment is as safe as it gets.
