I read a $3 prediction a month or so ago for QAN, and that was b4 the recent disappointing results from FlightCentre. Oil is predicted to stay around $50-60 for a while, but QAN would have hedged on their fuel, and airlines has become more efficient so apparently they can live with that price. The lower $AUD will help tourism and in another month the results of federal election should create more certainty. The buyback has been an interesting lesson to me - I thought it would help sustain the SP but it seemed to delay the inevitable! Im hoping QAN will eventually surprise with their results 24 August. In the meantime, ... what is the bottom SP to buy back in and average down or should I tax loss.
