The Leonardo 500 uses a DITECH electronic injection 500cc two-stoke single-cylinder engine in an aluminium chassis.
Besides looking good, the new scooter returns fantastic power for a single ( 50 hp at 6500 rpm) and economy ( 38 km/litre with an ECE 40 cycle and 34 km/litre at 110 km/h) due to the new injection system
This all translates to a 170 km/h top speed with an acceleration of 0-400 metres in 12.5 seconds, all within the Euro 3 emission control limits due in 2006.
Top quality suspension, ABS brakes, 15" front wheel and 14" rear, a front light from the RSV and rear LED's should make it one hell of a commuter/tourer.
