You have a selective memory: you predicted late fees to halve from 10 to5, thereby reducing late fee other income by 50% immediately. Given that the maximum late fee received is 30%, capping the late fees as Afterpay have done in this announcement maximally reduces late fee income by a maximum of 17% (and that is if every late fee was maximum- which is HIGHLY unlikely).
