It will eventually retrace...there's too many air-pockets below for it not to. If you're short common stock, you have time on your side. If you're short via puts, you could roll up to a higher strike and out to a longer expiry date, or buy ATM/ITM calls to offset any further losses. It's certainly not over yet. It could easily drop to 36 in a single day. That's the beauty of trading APT.
