Anyone who thinks credit checks makes a model likely to have lower bad debts does not understand micro finance at all. bnpl has significantly lower bad debts than payday loans, despite payday loans having the highest level of responsible lending compliance of any product - including mortgages. Go compare the bad debts as reported on Asx payday lenders to Afterpay....
