I suspect that you'll be enjoying the FIRE lifestyle in far less than 10 years, as you've clearly learnt from your prior investing experiences.
Another poster may have taken your comparison with Amazon and co far too literal. Whilst I don't envisage Afterpay morphing into one of the world's largest companies, I do concur that Afterpay will continue to add numerous strings to their bow. I'm not sure that the bears have fully considered how significant the move into banking services will be.
Whilst I can't predict what will be the next add-on service, I think that the odds are attractive that Afterpay will continue to expand into adjacent spaces. This will serve to keep growth buoyant for many years to come, deepen the network effect, and help to diversify revenue streams.
Whereas many of us invested in Afterpay, "the buy now pay later company", future investors will come to invest in Afterpay "the fin-tech platform" or "the consumer platform".
