I wonder if we all think of the implications for all companies if your statement is correct (that Afterpay extend credit and need to do credit checks). Where does it start and end for consumers getting a product and paying later?

Is it ok to sign up to utility providers?
Can I pay tradespeople on invoice rather than upfront?
What about filling up with petrol, technically I am getting the goods prior to paying...

Happy for people to dislike the tech and company if they choose, but to suggest getting goods or services prior to payment and without a credit check is a new phenomenon is ridiculous.
