I was in a pub last night paying EFTPOS for beers as I usually do. Noticed the pub was charging a blanket 1% on the bill (couldn't be bothered to argue the point) for VISA payments. One of the main arguments on this website is retailers don't pass on VISA fees so why bother with BNPL. They will begin pushing the RBA for the ability to pass on BNPL fees, just as they are starting to pass on c/c fees in this tight retail environment.
