"overvalued overhyped tech company" -- I think you'll find that APX is very attractively priced at the moment if you are willing to hold for a medium term horizon. It is the cheapest WAAANX stock by a long margin and trades at a respectable 16x CY21 EV/EBITDA. The best time to buy a quality company is when it is "out of favour". Sentiment comes and goes, but quality is enduring.

RE comparing CSL with APX -- they are apples and oranges. Appen is in a much faster-growing sector and is at the start of its journey relative to CSL as a company in a somewhat maturing industry. I would consider Appen a star business and CSL halfway between a star and a cash-cow business, using the 2x2 growth-share matrix. They are in different stages of their respective journeys.

For what it is worth, I think CSL is of course an outstanding company and a wonderful Aussie success story. I'm currently not interested at today's levels, but I would be willing to dip my toe in at around $220 per share for CSL.
