Tax loss selling nothing to do with business model. If companies want bigdata for A.I they either go to Lionbridge or Appen.
It's better offsetting losses against big gains rather than paying big taxes they also get the benefit of entering at lower prices at a future date to make their quarterly performances look good and get some bonuses.
