My view is US funds are profit taking before December financial year-end. The fund managers will be locking in profits while they are real, not waiting until mid/late December. Having worked for a major US corp in the past they essentially measure you against the November YTD results. APX has been a big winner ( approx. 100% profit over 12 months) for them so I suspect the game is sell, crystallise profits and bonuses then buy back in and wait for same return over next 12 months.
