It should always come down to the IV you have of the business. I've hung on a couple of time for the bottom that never came - webjet in 2011 at around $1.60. Should have bought at $1.70 - $1.75. Wouldn't have made a difference at all now (Cochlear also in sept 2011 crash). Very much regretting the "If I miss out, I miss out" view I had then on some stocks for the sake of a few cents. If you value the company as a great business and have a much higher IV than the current price buy and if it keeps dropping add more.
