Why is this a bad thing?
Who else on earth are good at ML/AI apart from those tech giants? Coles? Woolies? Qantas?
Those companies has the best resources, best use cases, best AI projects, best researchers , almost unlimited AI budgets and they are providing solutions to all other industry leaders. All of them are pioneer in the fields they are in, it makes prefect sense that top 10 company would make 90% of the whole AI market. Others will catch up, but they are far behind Facebook, Google, Amazon, Microsoft....
The things is their spending on AI will only increase YoY, the only major risk is when SSL can be mature enough to replace manual labeling completely, this again could take another 10 years.
Why is this a bad thing? Who else on earth are good at ML/AI...
