Nige has made very good points and the fact Appen serves to the top 10 in the industry shows potential areas of revenue softening. It was mentioned in their last presentation that they were moving into govt contracts in the US. Microsofts recent update announcement might also be informative to get an idea of the nearterm.
I don't know what percentage of their revenue comes from the automotive sector and would be interested to know the percentage.
The last thing to remember is that AI as an industry is evolving and every year new niches for data-crunching open up - for that reason I am bullish. Regarding the share price right now and near term outlook I think one could do well to wait on the sidelines a little longer. $15.20 is where I will begin to accumulate.
