Actually, brokers just want to see trading. buy or sell, doesnt matter as long as there are trades and as many as possible. That is why there are so many conflicting views on any given stock. If everyone just bought and held or didnt touch dog stocks, how would the industry profit? They make $$ on the brokerage and on the order book. All against retail.
