Buffet is full of crap... During Covid he said something along the lines of "if you believe in great businesses and America they will do fine in the long run and to never sell etc etc"... He ritually sold a bunch of stocks, exited out and later bought them cheap when they were down... A company can be up and thriving for 20 years then later run into issues, go bankrupt and lose everything... The key is to know when to exit based on your understanding and fundamentals of the business...
