Yes, bit more complicated than that in essence that's pretty much it.
Datasets are typically hundreds of millions in parameters.
Chat GPT is a foundational model and very new it has 1.5 billion parameters.
They are only going to get larger. No company is capable doing this in house without a crowd. When A.I can think for itself without costing companies alot of money through toxicity then the crowd becomes obscelete but I think we are a long way away from that to get it to commercial grade.
