AQD Investment Case

Hi AQDers,

I must say, AQD as a company really fascinates me. I struggle to understand why it has failed to capture the imagination of the retail ‘punters’ and BEOT alike.

The facts
1. ~$12M Market Cap
2. Multiple ‘irons in the fire’
3. Exposure to a range of hot commodities (along with more traditional commodities)
4. Strong backing from South32
5. Respected management team with strong credentials

I guess the failure to find anything of note to date does count against it, but IMHO it is only a matter of time before they do. Similarly, the threat of a capital raise always looms large (as it does with many explorers) - but that’s all part of the game.

When shell companies/explorers in remote parts of Africa can command markets caps in the 100s of millions of dollars, one would hope that AQDs 15 minutes of fame is just around the corner.

What are other peoples investment theses around AQD? Interested to compare and contrast.
