Aquamarine Power goes into liquidation, page-6

Aquamarine Power was the signature wave energy technology in the EMEC portfolio.  The collapse of that company must bring in to question the future viability of the centre.  Given that $AUD 70 million has been spent on the centre over the past twelve years, you would expect that everything possible would be done to protect that investment.

As well, Aquamarine Power, Carnegie Wave Energy, Bosch Rexroth and EMEC were all collaborators for WavePod, a pan industry power off take project.

As the only surviving wave technology in the collaboration, the focus will be on CWE to see out the development of the technology through to it's conclusion.
