Not quite true, EDF commissioned DCNS to deploy CETO 4 at Reunion Island. They thought one of the world's biggest and most accomplished marine energy companies would be able to do a better job than a minnow from Australia.

As it turns out, they were wrong.

If PWEP is a success, the case for a CWE/EDF collaboration in the northern hemisphere should be compelling IMO.
