West Pilbara
The West Pilbara projects are strategically located within 150 km of the Western Australian coast with potential port sites from Onslow to Cape Preston. The focus for exploration by the Australian Premium Iron Joint Venture (API) has been the drill evaluation of the channel iron deposits (CIDs) on the Mt Stuart and Red Hill projects located to the south of Pannawonica. These projects together with the Mt Elvire and Yalleen projects form a contiguous tenement portfolio of more than 9,000 sq km, one of the largest land holdings for iron ore in the West Pilbara.
