and it appears to be somewhat of a surprise to you that people are damaged mentally by war
well, that's just fact ------------ and don't even think for a minute that young kids aren't damaged by wars
kids of 3 and 4 are like sponges - they absorb things - and they form survival traits that follow them all though life
that doesn't mean that one should withhold sympathy, love and care
and if there are parents who are damaged by years of oppression, which there certainly are ------------- real nations should be big enough to give, to share
