Opto, I agress that to have the director(s) of ANY company, as a shareholder with-in the top 20 of your company, in my experience, is a good thing.
However, I don't like them getting there by the way of getting there holdings at overly generous rates. Much better faith is shown if them buy in at the same price as shareholders (which many do), this shows that they believe that the company will go ahead.
Becoming shareholders because they accepted 'freebies' or overly generous packages shows not much really.
ARU has a great future but the directors need to get more runs on the board before rewarding themselves imo.
