Cornerstone investors generally come in at a market discount. Just like the cap raising whatever price they come in at I expect the sp to run towards it. If it's low and it disaapoints then the volume could be used by the shorts to cover.
I can not see the shorts being burnt. They have been benefiting from the go slow.
from my observation the shorts and the bod have a nice cosy relationship. And hence my disgust.
