Klaru‘s post was about the German fund for strategic critical minerals

the pitty is: there has been a lot of talking and a lot of consultants running around and consulting government about this and that and only burning money. Up to know no one really knows if the government had the money in the budget or not.

kfw - Arafura has already business with them - is responsible for managing the fund if it is going live…

the French and the Italian both also have a fund for critical minerals, both 2 billion euro.
the German fund is 1 billion euro.

there is so much Money lying around reserved for Funding and still we don’t get the money.

there is a regulation out there that from 2030, no country in EU should source more than 60% of a strategic mineral from one country alone. So EU and it’s companies have to diversify supply chain.
but only talking…consultants burning money making proposals and power points. Inviting politicians to chime or Norway, to take a picture from a not-defined but potentially huge ree resource.
