Volkswagen teases plan to tackle electric Chinese city cars (msn.com)

"The Volkswagen Group has teased its most affordable electric vehicle (EV) yet ahead of its world premiere in 2027.

It’s targeting a price tag of €20,000 (~A$32,600) for the new model, which will see it slot in under the members of its upcoming sub-€25,000 (~A$40,800) ‘Electric Urban Car Family’."

The world of the 2030s is going to be very EV centric. Even where I live now, almost every 5th car is a Tesla, BYD etc. One can only imagine the demand to increase as prices drop, battery technology improves and charging infrastructure is accessible enough for people who live in apartments etc.

So many people I speak to are just waiting for the price to drop and they will move over to an EV.

I recently bought a Tesla and won't be going back to petrol cars. It's been a game changer owning one.
