The extension of the CP to the satisfaction of the gas supply...

The extension of the CP to the satisfaction of the gas supply agreement by a mere one month (31 July) is telling. It is logical to assume that there was sufficient reasoning communicated by ARU to Central Petroleum for it to agree to the extension (i.e., that there is a reasonable chance that all CP's will be satisfied by 31 July).

I don't expect FID by 31 July, but do expect it by the end of the year. I admit this is unhelpful speculation and people are entitled to call this out as nonsense. Let's look to the next quarterly update and messaging by the company as to the signal it chooses to send (we may of course hear a whole lot more before then...).

P.S - A new GSA can be easily negotiated by the parties if the CP's aren't achieved. It is such a minor piece to the puzzle, but nonetheless a rare window into the machinations of ARU as it moves toward FID.
