I disagree. If they are not worried, why would you suggest they don’t go anything over 163M shares as a general limit. Ie why don’t they short deeper particularly as each 1c now represents far greater profit.
If I was a shorter, I would be going all out, the financial gains are much greater if I really wasn’t worried…
I see it as opposite, they are just hanging in there, hanging for the positive news, the large liquidity event so they can get out. They need large volumes of sellers, and that will only happen at much higher prices.
