Yes Alway - they manage it with ease to suit their agenda - paper profits - accumulation in other entities - equity participation at a low premium - the traditional lending arrangements for short insto do not always apply ie substantial holder loaning to short sharks for a fee and interest charge over agreed period.
Just my observation - probably wrong. Regardless it will pass when they want it to. Looking forward to a shift from critical minerals shorting to iron ore next year when that rout commences and much money transition from iron ore to critical minerals stocks and ARU will be positioned admirably.
