I get what you are suggesting. Senior manager joins the business, gets paid a high salary and if the Nolan’s project doesn’t succeed then they are still fine as they got paid.
What I’m suggesting is that a company doesn’t hire someone to sit around and watch TV. There’s a strategic importance for each hire, which means thing are moving in the background.
I’d rather see these roles get filled than positions laying empty.
