Laughed when the "expert" claimed it takes a lot of Technolgy to produce rare earths.
Benefaction and solvent extraction technology has been around for decades. It's the IP around enviro controls, material handling and process flowsheet at scale that's difficult to establish. Won't find any SX plants the scale of Lynas and MP in China for a reason.
Agree it takes a lot of money and time to establish processing plant though. I don't think many here fully understand what it's going to take to get this thing up and running. Plenty more money and time than what's been forecast, and then some. Beneficiation plant shouldn't be too much of an issue. It's the separation plant that's going to have major issues due to reasons mentioned above. They could potentially sell their lanthanide concentrate to Lynas or China if desperate IMHO. If it ever gets that far. IMHO.
