For those with U.S. trading accounts organised there is a perfect arbitrage opportunity as SSN shares in the U.S. are trading at a discount of approximately 13% to ssn on the ASX.
It's interesting as before the HotCopper hype around SSN the ASX shares were trading at a discount. It seems that traders of small oil companies in the U.S. are slightly more in tune with fundamental value, whereas traders here are either more confident buying purely on technicals, or we Aussies just love a punt!
