What is the endgame? If RMS end up with over 25%, that become a significant stake in terms of any Special Resolutions(requiring 75% approval) and certainly means that AVO don't have access to the cash flow of DIO.
Who is to say that RMS also don't end up with 45%?
Unless AVO steps in again soon, RMS will be able to greenmail for a much higher price at some future date.
I think today the market has spoken.. AVO share price DOWN and DIO share price UP, and RMS basically unchanged.
It has not been a good result for AVO - as much as it is being presented as some sort of victory.
