Prepare to learn again. I buy and sell on ASX and on LSE with a broker in London. The price you see quoted on LSE is not what you receive. The market in any stock there is run by the "market maker". You are selling, so he buys your stock low and sells it high to the buyer. Then you must pay your broker. All is not what it seems.
