Greenland Minerals, which recently changed its name to Transition Energy Minerals, is still seeking the arbitral tribunal's word that their project in Kuannersuit is not covered by the uranium law adopted in December 2021.This is what the newspaper Sermitsiaq writes. The company is therefore continuing unabated towards an extraction permit. Most recently, they have been on fieldwork in the project area in September, where they, among other things, collected additional material to supplement the existing data.
These are bottom samples from the fjord and Narsap Ilua and tissue samples collected from fauna and cattle in the valley. In addition, they have set up a dust meter with associated weather station on the farm in the Narsaq valley. The company is also planning a radon monitoring program, and they have held meetings in Nuuk with stakeholders and companies in September and October.
