I think the benefits to the people of Greenland of allowing GGG to mine Kvanejfeld are deliberately overlooked and ignored because the decision makers are arrogant, ignorant, myopic, and ideologically driven NIMBYs. Driven only by the need for personal wealth enrichment and ego aggrandisement.

Same, of course, can be said for a lot of other countries today too. And some people spring to mind…

They support each other to affirm to themselves that they know more than the people they govern. Government and leadership are replaced by a need to ‘rule’
because in their minds they are always know more and better than us plebs.
