Rubbish. The World Bank has a charter (or equivalent) to assist countries develop. They are not a commercial bank to make money where-ever they can. As an organisation they are very much impacted by world politics and receive funding from world governments. In fact, they have been undergoing a substantial restructuring of late because Mr Trump withheld much of the USA's previous funding and many people have lost their employment as a result.
