    Hi Hottod,

I highlighted this dot point on page 4 of this old presentation below a while back.

    – University of Queensland (IMB) for rapid mapping of a synthetic intracellular interactome and macrocyclisation

    http://phylogica.com/media/140603_Phylogica_NGPT.pdf

Three words stood out for me at the time.

    Synthetic
    Intracellular
    Macrocyclisation

Is this what they've been working towards - the integration of the three technologies into the one product?

Here's what you highlighted today from the article:

“We will use this funding to develop new technology to produce pharmacologically active cyclic peptides that are more stable and active than those found in nature,” Professor Alexandrov said.

“These peptides would have a variety of uses, for example, as the basis for new pharmaceuticals to treat unmet medical needs that involve novel antibiotics and anti-cancer drugs.”

Now have a read of the 2nd paragraph from the April 26, 2012 announcement - "Phylogica granted patent for Synthetic Phylomer Libraries"
