I agree cant see any good reason for AWE to move on ARQ, and personally i dont think it will ever happen.

ARQ wanted to merge with AWE several years back and were told to go jump cos their price was way over the top.

this is just a personal opinion, but if you were watching the trading on AWE there has been some big buying happening, constant selling down on low volumes then buyng all the way up to 3.60, i got this feeling there is a swooper on AWE and ARQ merger may flush them out.

think we are in for plenty of action over the next couple of months in the aussie oil sector
