Besides Myst , Skoda employs nearly 30,000 employees in Czech republic , one of the Czech's crown jewels in manufacturing , it has been said that VW will manufacture batteries , any delay in providing what I believe will be Lithium to VW , could put enormous pressure on Skoda's capability to pump out EV's in a crucial time to create market share in this new environment , would not think for a moment VW would allow this to happen . Could you imagine the furor , Babic calling Bernhard Maier ( Chairman Skoda ) , hey , we just want you to know , we know you have been making cars here for 25 years , but we just want to take back the land and factories you have invested in for 25 years .
