Finally some good news for the UCG sector....

Snippet in the Fin Review today in street talk section that Carbon Energy is set to announce a landmark deal that could ultimately lead to the development of the proposed $350m Blue Gum power plant.

Carbon Energy has struck a deal with Arcadia Energy Trading - a part of the $US11 billion empire of Norwegian shipping magnate John Fredriksen - that will result in Arcadia purchasing the $35million, 25 megawatt Bloodwood Creek power station from Carbon once it completes the plants construction. Carbon will then supply the station with synthetic gas from its Queensland UCG operations.
