Happy New Year to all here, and may 2022 bring wealth, positivity and hope to all of us here. Hope you managed to enjoy a good Christmas break and ready to tackle the challenges that 2022 will throw at us all !
2021 was a crazy year for most of us with many challenges for Investors and traders alike plus personal challenges for us weathering the storm of Covid and the separation from loved ones and adjusting to the new norm that covid has imposed on us all. Many challenges are going to persist through 2022 but as like 2021 we'll get through it !
Another year has passed for us Archer shareholders and many big achievements accomplished in 2021 and of course the challenges that covid has thrown at the company during 2021 have somewhat alleviated with no more lockdowns. Here's hoping the idea of majority vaccinated then herd immunity with minor symptoms spells the decline to this horrid virus and some form of returning to normal ! It will happen and hopefully this is the road to better days now.
Over the past year we've gone from the 50 cent range hitting the $3 mark and settling back down to $1.10 mark - quite a rollercoaster year !We are now 100% Tech focused and included in the ASX Tech Index - have $30 Million in the back and debt free, the two mainstream Verticals 12cq Quantum Chip and A1 Bio Chip are progressing and Archer is expanding their expertise.
I've notice from their careers section on their website they are adding to their talent pool with current jobs available for.... 1.Quantum Hardware Engineer 2.Quantum Device Theoretical Physicist 3.Another Quantum Algorithm Developer 4.Materials Chemist
Clearly Archer is expanding on the Quantum Side of the business more - Hopefully this means an acceleration of the 12cq build and keeping Archers momentum in the Developing Mobile Quantum Market alive and well. There seems no doubt now that Quantum is coming albeit early days but it's clear it's already here in a basic form and will only increase it's computing power as the years roll on and will likely accelerate with more and more investment in Quantum around the world. If Archer can accelerate their 12cq build to produce a minimum viable product then it can be demonstrated to chipmakers the potential of a nano scale, room temperature and Silicon compatible device and allow for licensing agreements.We all know the technology has been proven to work .. well most of us here anyway... but building it on the nanoscale in chip format with architecture does presents it's challenges but Archer has been addressing these each at a time.
Realistically, this will take years, but with each milestone brings us a step closer to realizing an amazing Technology that will only be built on and help increase computation power from Robotics and self driving cars to new drug discoveries and materials that would allow tech to go the next step forward and I can hope for a healthy retirement income from their licensing agreements ... well that's the plan anyway !
Good to see the quick response from Archer to the Australian Patent Offices communications regarding the Australian Patent application - they have made progress and hopefully this can be concluded sometime early this year. The European Patent although advised to be granted is taking longer than I would have expected to be formally granted - but as we've discussed before - each jurisdiction goes on different timelines and processes so we will be waiting for news on this early this year.
Mo's trip to the USA with Martin attending The Quantum Trade Function in Silicon Valley and engagements with potential partners will have hopefully spurred more International interest and anything agreed upon will take time to announce considering the Christmas break and most people returning to work from this week.
A lot more to look forward to this year for myself and of course my fellow Archer Shareholders. Here's to an exciting year 2022 and to the demise of Covid !
