@Burlzey I feel part of this can be better answered by the builders on the forum.
But I'll have a try, and if the builders in the industry tell me I'm stupid I'll listen. If Anks tells me I'm stupid I wont care as he isn't realistic or balanced in his posts.

How many different designs/mixtures has the brick making industry so far come up with for builders to build walls of brick with? Even today, how many options are currently on the market globally.
My guess is that there are thousands of different designs/mixtures currently on the market around the world.
Why is this so for what is essentially a basic shape of 6 sides that never moves after being laid?
I believe that the answer is not because we "can" produce so much variety, but because different situations require we "must" have many options of different size, or mixture composition.

From long ago, we had a figure from FBR that they were targeting 1 to 3% of the low wall global market.
I doubt they can hope to get anymore market penetration (profitably) than that given the requirement to have a HX specialized brick.
Now 1 to 3% is still a large revenue number, and if achieved profitably (no details from FBR how that will be done except for "Trust Us") then share holders will be happy....but I just feel that today in 2019 the barriers to a large specialised costly machine being profitable are becoming more numerous as the story develops than seemed to be the case back in 2015 when I first started following FBR.

with those 4 bullet points I agree with, except for number 3.
We already know that the boom/conveyor can quickly adjust for different sized bricks as the outdoor build showed half length bricks for wall ends and openings, plus the different widths of the bricks for exterior vs interior walls.
Therefore adjusting between one site and the next for different dimensions of brick I cannot see being a problem.
Different mass of the various brick types out there might be an issue though.
F = ma can be a problem with all moving and rotating that the bricks have to do between the pallet and being laid.
