    Hi Adent,

Your consideration in the different designs/mixtures seems to be coming from what a BRICKLAYER is able to build brick walls with. A bricklayer is significantly limited in comparison to the HX simply because they are human. They can only lift a certain weight for so long before they begin growing tired and their efficiency wanes. Sure, there's variations in blocks for climate extremes, but the majority of brick variations have been created in the hopes of aiding the bricklayer's efficiency.

How can you say that in 2019, 'the barriers to a large specialized costly machine are becoming more numerous'...? FBR is now utilizing a Hadrian X in combination with a brick/block manufacturer as if it were a crew of laborers. When CAT was in the mix, they were going to MANUFACTURE and SELL this specialized costly machine to the market. You can't have it both ways as you so eloquently stated to Ank.

The boom/conveyor doesn't adjust for different block sizes. The HX cuts blocks as needed and stores the offcuts for later use based on the requirements of the CAD it is working off. The blocks for interior walls will be loaded separately to the exterior walls. It is totally different to utilizing 6 different types of block at once. What purpose would that serve anyway?

How would a different mass of the 'various brick types' be an issue? When a block is cut, does its mass not change...? Have you seen recent subdivisions? Volume building is becoming exponentially more popular. It's virtually 3 designs that are copied throughout.

I don't think force has anything to do with it in this instance. It's a matter of loading the interior and exterior blocks into the Hadrian X as the CAD requires. My guess is that the Hadrian X operator will also have a forklift license. Problem solved in terms of safety requirements and continual operation demands.
