    The 1980's and 1990's average wasn't included in the above chart but here they are. I wouldn't want you to presume I am cherry picking data now. And I am not really trying to assert anything other than pointing out the fact the arctic is still technically in the freezing season and it is already losing sea ice however people continue to point out how much snow we have in the mid/lower latitudes like a sign of global cooling. I am not sure if you need to explain to them that snow in the mid/lower latitudes melts.
