I share your concerns. As long as the Au: Ag ratio continues to climb, ARD's sp will continue to struggle.
That said however there may be a final opportunity to accumulate some additional shares before Ag takes off & follows Au to record new ATHs.
Have a look at the following Heikin Ashi monthly chart for Au:Ag since the 2011 low.
I like using the Heikin-Ashi candle chart as it is a modified version of traditional Japanese candlesticks. It is used to identify trends and potential reversals in financial markets. It smooths out market noise by averaging prices, making it easier to spot trend direction and strength.
The chart clearly shows that the ratio has a strong upward momentum. Imho, it is heading for a double top at around 116-128. This will be a great opportunity to buy Ag stocks like ARD.
If I'm wrong, I'm happy to hold with what I have. But if I'm right will take the opportunity to cost average down.
