WDS is one of the companies I have diversified in to. While silver is a reasonably safe bet, you don't want all of your eggs in the silver basket. I don't know how long this misunderstanding is going to last, but you can bet oil prices are going to be affected.
I can't help but wonder to what degree silver is still being manipulated. Whispers suggest that the shorter's are loosing the battle, but there seems to be evidence to the contrary. In the past we have had big swings up and down, and a little while ago between top and bottom of the market was a mere 31 cents today.
This suggests tight control on the price. This has been common place over the last few weeks. To the point I think it plays a large part in ARD price not being so stellar. We are used to bigger silver swings, and complimentary swings in the stock price, but with silver trading so flat, enthusiasm has waned. Feels like trying to sail on a windless day.
Again there was good resistance in ARD today, with the manipulators unfortunately getting over the line first. Their first attempt failed, as noted as soon as I posted they tried to push the price down by making a single 0.021 sale, but they failed to get the market to react and sellers sat tight instead of knee jerk reaction selling. They did however manage to push a genuine 0.022 sale price down to 0.021 at close.
Some days it feels like trying to boil a frog, the silver price creeps up and the market fails to respond. That is why a lot of buyers need to see these big silver fluctuations we are not getting. Yes the price has risen, but the market is half asleep because it has happened too gradually. But there definitely feels like change is in the wind. Looking at the recent silver pattern it has run flat and jumped, I think we are due another jump.
