Those seeking a board position seem well qualified, with 2 of the 4 offering to work for nothing for at least the first 12 months. One of the applicants is US based, which looks like something the current board is looking to achieve.

I note the current board have stated their intention to vote against the 4 proponents.

Dreamworld is obviously suffering, given the accident last year.
Main Event does not seem to be showing the growth many anticipated, especially in regards to same store sales. It seems a lot of the stores are within a very concentrated area.

I would be keen to hear from those who have followed the stock more closely, on how they see the recent performance of the business, board and any voting intentions for the upcoming meeting.

I have recently bought the shares on the basis that Gary Weiss and Kevin Seymour are the right people to shake up the current management whose recent record is far from impressive. The announcement that Malaysian Seng Huang Lee has a 5.3% stake in Ardent should also be seen as a positive for unit holders.
